Ava August

Ava August, then 14 was performing in front of an SOLD-OUT crowd of 30,000 people at Staples Center before the Los Angeles Kings hockey match. Ava August had been booked for both the LA Galaxy as well as Los Angeles Dodgers, two professional teams in baseball and soccer. In the end, COVID-19 caused them to cancel those reservations. Ava August was the youngest performer to appear on American Idol's 19th season in the age group of 15. Ava August won the GOLDEN Tickets in the Audition Round. Then, she advanced into the Genre, Duet, Showstopper and the Celebrity/Solo Top 16 and Top 10 Rounds. Ava was voted into the TOP 10 by the American people. Ava August sang on American Idol two original songs: Neighbor Boys, and Ghost of You. Ava also sang an earthshattering duet with the world-renowned celebrity artist, Josh Groban. Also at 15, Ava August dropped her critically acclaimed single called Daybreak with a video. It was also accompanied by her very first animated music video. Daybreak was played during her Tropical Surf Hour on KX FM 93.5FM November 1, 20. Daybreak was broadcast on the 29th of November at 88.5 FM LA/OC to the eleven million Southern California listeners.
